The Classroom Stocking Program is Wisdom Supply Co's origin story. Modeled after my volunteer efforts to reduce plastic waste at my own children's small Northern California K-8 school in 2012.
Ten years and a global school-closing pandemic later, we're back to it, and more convinced/committed than ever.
What we know to be true: Stocking classrooms with zero-waste supplies and allowing teachers to distribute as needed, prevents more waste and saves more money than any other approach.
If we're serious about leaving a livable planet for today's students, there should be no need for trash cans at schools.
